Unicode Editor Bitmap Font Package for Windows
----------------------------------------------

Yudit from version 2.6 supports direct rendering
of iso10646 encoded X11 bitmap fonts. This way it
became possible on windows to use high quality
X11 bitmap fonts.

Two types of bitmap fonts are supported:
1. 16 pixel GNU Unifont in .hex format.
2. Any size .bdf fonts.

In is font package I collected those fonts that
are preconfigured as the 'default' font in
yudit-2.6.

1. unifont.hex
Unifont is the GNU Unifont created by Roman
  Czyborra <roman@czyborra.com>. It is currently
  maintained by David Starner <dvdeug@debian.org>.

What I have put in this package is version dvdeug-2
  from http://dvdeug.dhis.org/unifont.html.

It comes with GNU GPL license. Please read the license at
  http://www.gnu.org/

2. markus9x18.bdf markus18x18ja.bdf
These fonts can be directly downloaded from Markus Kuhn's page:

  9x18.bdf http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/download/ucs-fonts.tar.gz
  9x18ja.bdf http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/download/ucs-fonts-asian.tar.gz

They were created by Markus Kuhn <Markus.Kuhn@cl.cam.ac.uk>
I renamed these fontfiles to make them suitable for Yudit's default font
  definition.

Please note that this package is just created for convenience,
the proper way is to go to the appropriate site, download the
font, read the appropriate license files, and put the appropriate
font files into

  C:\Program Files\Yudit\fonts

This windows bitmap font package for Yudit is maintained by Gaspar
Sinai <gsinai@yudit.org>.
